Essential Job Duties |
This position supports the department in :
- Audit daily gift deposits and prepare bank deposits via Remote Deposit Capture (RDC) for six (6) University-related foundations and the Association.
- Perform control and audit steps as outlined in the procedures manual to ensure that all cash received reconciles with Gift Processing batch records.
- Carefully review each deposit to verify the correct payee, confirm that funds appropriately belong in a foundation account, and ensure proper account allocation.
- Prepare other income deposits for multiple foundations and affiliated entities.
- Conduct financial analyses, including but not limited to monthly reconciliations of clearing accounts related to matching gifts and the Advance system.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills to effectively resolve errors made by other units, identify root causes, and determine appropriate corrective actions.
