Description
Job Description: Collaborate with investigators and research teams to develop an understanding of needs and to define key objectives and aims. Manage and execute research projects. Research and devise innovative statistical models for data analysis, collaborating with statisticians as needed. Participate in an iterative research process by discussing findings with investigators, research teams, and other stakeholders and modifying models and analyses based upon discussion. Enable smarter data analysis processes and implements analytics for meaningful insights. Work as the lead data Scientist, identifying and integrating new datasets that can be leveraged throughout the department/organization. Identify relevant data sources to help address research needs and collect large structured and unstructured datasets and variables. Work closely with the investigators, research teams and other stakeholders to strategize and execute the development of datasets. Devise and utilize algorithms and models to mine data stores, perform data and error analysis to improve models, and clean and validate data for uniformity and accuracy. Analyze data for trends and patterns and interpret data with a clear objective in mind. Implement analytical models into production by collaborating with other stakeholders. Communicate analytic solutions to investigators, research teams and other stakeholders and implement improvements as needed. Assist with preparation of proposals, presentations, abstracts, manuscripts, and other dissemination materials. Job Requirements:
