DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this role, you will offer expert recommendations on the latest and most cost-effective technologies, applying sound engineering principles to uphold public safety, structural integrity, and the long-term durability of bridges in District 6-0. Your responsibilities will include formulating bridge asset management strategies for all structures across Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia Counties, as well as executing an asset management plan within the district. Additionally, you will leverage your engineering expertise to review submissions from consultants for Interstate 95 and other intricate bridge projects. Interested in learning more? - Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 5 days per pay period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in King of Prussia.
- This position is eligible for alternate work schedule (AWS)

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Four years of professional civil engineering experience which includes three years in the appropriate specialty.
Special Requirement:
- This position requires possession of a valid Professional Engineer license issued by the Pennsylvania State Registration Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists.
Post-Employment Requirement:
- For the Bridges and Transportation parentheticals, successful candidates with an out of state Professional Engineer license will be required to produce a valid Professional Engineer license issued by Pennsylvania within their initial six-month probationary period.
Other Requirements:
- PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
