Internship- Operations

Overall Summary:

The Operations Intern will gain hands-on experience in Direct Mail Manufacturing, Lean Manufacturing principles, and Continuous Improvement initiatives. This role provides exposure to various areas within manufacturing operations and offers the opportunity to support real-time projects that drive process efficiency and operational excellence.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Learn and observe core manufacturing processes across multiple production lines.
• Collaborate with Operations leaders to gain insight into different areas of the production floor.
• Develop an understanding of Lean Manufacturing fundamentals.
• Support the implementation of Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Assist with assigned manufacturing and operational projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the operations team.

Required Skills/Abilities/Competencies:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated leadership potential with a proactive approach to tasks.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.

Salary:

This role will pay $19/hr and is not eligible for full time benefits.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED required).
• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business, Manufacturing Operations, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work up to 8 hours consecutively.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Capability to work in both office and production floor environments.
