CC&B Architect- Oracle Database

Introduction

Working as part of a cross-functional team, the CC&B Architect specializing in Oracle data management will be responsible for the refactoring and integration of CC&B to Oracle Utilities Meter Data Management, to streamline the flow of data and improve operational efficiency. Additionally, the Architect should be able to automate data synchronization and updates across systems, reducing manual intervention and errors.

Required for this opportunity.

  • Oracle Databases: Deep understanding of Oracle database architecture, SQL, PL/SQL, and database management systems

  • Expertise in designing and implementing data models that support CC&B applications

  • Skills in optimizing database performance, including indexing, query optimization, and configuration adjustments

  • Oracle Fusion Middleware: Familiarity with middleware technologies to integrate CC&B systems with other applications

  • Knowledge of RESTful and SOAP-based web services for seamless data integration

  • Understanding of security measures to protect sensitive customer data, including encryption and access controls

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices for data management and protection

  • Ability to diagnose and resolve database-related issues quickly and effectively

  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and provide actionable insights

  • Experience in planning and executing database-related projects, ensuring they meet business requirements and timelines

  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and IT staff

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical concepts and collaborate with stakeholders

  • Leadership skills to guide and mentor junior team members and drive project success

Recommended;

  • CI/CD Tools: Familiarity with Jenkins, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes for continuous integration and deployment.

  • Knowledge of Shell, Python, or JavaScript for automation tasks.

  • Linux/Unix Administration: Experience with Linux/Unix systems for managing Oracle environments.

  • Experience with Tibco & Boomi

  • Oracle Utilities Customer Self Service Application (OUCSS)

  • Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF)
