Description

The Senior Financial Analyst plays a pivotal role in evaluating transaction economics across multiple commercial aviation aircraft and engine types involving deals for portfolio acquisitions, sale-leasebacks, aircraft placements, and financing structures. This is a great opportunity to join the largest freighter leasing team to contribute to key strategic decisions in a collaborative environment.

In this role, you will work across finance, technical and commercial teams to perform cashflow sensitivity models to forecast scenarios, financial returns, and propose structures to maximize value and mitigate risk.

The ideal candidate combines strong financial modelling skills, enthusiasm for aviation, sharp acumen, and clear communicator. Prior experience in aviation, real estate, or other capital-intensive investments is a plus.

Duties:



  • Analyze trading opportunities, lease transactions, and financing scenarios for mid-life aircraft.
  • Build and maintain advanced financial models to perform deal evaluation and portfolio analysis.
  • Forecast cashflows and asset values based on market insights and technical and maintenance condition.
  • Support strategic decision-making with well-supported sensitivity analysis and recommend deal transactions.
  • Work with commercial team to develop financial terms and conditions for leases and support customer negotiations.
  • Prepare internal approvals and present insights across department stakeholders.


Minimum Requirements & Qualification:



  1. Bachelor's degree in aviation, finance, accounting, economics or related field from an accredited university.
  2. 3-5 years' combined experience in aircraft leasing, aviation finance, or other similar experience.
  3. Strong Excel modelling skills, with keen ability to adapt and build complex analytical tools, and willing to learn new MRP platforms.
  4. Understanding of lease structures, maintenance economics, and cashflow return metrics IRR, ROE, yield).
  5. Outstanding analytical, presentation and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate, update, persuade, and/or facilitate discussions with all levels of employees, management, customers, and sales prospects.
  6. Project management skills to manage competing deal timelines, detail-oriented, inquisitive, proactive, highly motivated, and can work independently to meet deadlines.
  7. Demonstrated experience in problem solving with internal and external providers and customers.
  8. Planning and organizational skills necessary to prioritize, assign and coordinate workload of assigned areas within a multiple project setting.
  9. Positive, flexible, and service-oriented attitude toward internal and external customers.
