What You Will Do as a Sample & Customization Coordinator:

The primary responsibility of this position is to coordinate the sample production and customization processes through the pattern department. This is accomplished by following processes for sample production and executing all requests for samples. Additionally, the position will support the customization processes to ensure specifications are correct.

How You Will Make a Difference:

*Coordinates internal sample orders. Reviews all sample requests to determine requirements and appropriate supply channel for production. Communicates and coordinates all decisions to internal customers and provides updates as needed.
* Coordinates all sample orders through patterns. Reviews all sample requests to route to the appropriate pattern maker, resolving issues or questions for sample makers and pattern makers to ensure requirements are met.
* Utilizes a tracking system to track progress and status of sample production. This involves working with Merchandising and Supply Chain to identify requirements and checkpoints for the sample process.
* Review of BOM to determine fabric and trim requirements. Review of fabric width to determine marker requirements and verifies availability of sample fabric and findings.
* Communicates sample details to internal manufacturing and provides updates as needed.
* Ensures orders are entered by customer service for billing on internal sample cuts.
* Maintains / deletes sample marker files as they become obsolete.
* Communicates request numbers to internal customers and provides updates as needed.
* Generate monthly metrics report.
* Based on requests from Customer Care, Merchandising, and/or the customer, develop initial manual drawings converting customer needs into Customization specifications. With Tech Designers, develop permanent specs that will be used in Distribution to convert the spec (visual creation) into a physical garment.

* Work with the Customization Team and Distribution Center Engineers to obtain sign off on the specs and obtain costing for conversion into customer pricing ensuring pricing targets are
appropriately set. Priced option information supplied for MOJO input.
* Set up customization codes on new product as needed and requested by Merchandising teams.
* For Customization generated, internally created components, follow the standard lot set up process to ensure all systems are set up appropriately to create the internally created components (e.g., pockets, epaulets, flaps).
* Work with sector Merchandisers to support the go to market strategy ensuring all necessary customization set up is created and communicated to the appropriate teams for set up in systems.

Skills for Success:

* Years of Related Professional Experience : 1-3
* Bachelors degree in Art and Design, Fashion or related field
* Pattern design and pattern grading experience
* Excellent communication skills (oral, written)
* Superior CAD skills used in pattern making, grading, style definition, and marker making
* CAD design applications such as Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office
* Creative problem solving skills
* Understanding of mainframe and mojo operating systems a plus
* Must be able to handle issues cross-functionally
