Job Overview
We are currently looking for a Senior Risk & Treasury Analyst to join our team in Holland, MI.This position will be eligible for a flexible work schedule which allows for work from home 1 or 2 days a week. As an experienced treasury professional, the Senior Risk & Treasury Analystwill independently manage complex treasury activities, requiring deep knowledge of treasury principles and practices. This may include leading project components, mentoring team members, and taking ownership of ongoing processes with a focus on risk, insurance & investments.
Essential Functions
- Support management of various investment accounts, including US 401K, Canadian retirement account, taxable investment accounts & pension plan.
- Support annual financial audit process for investment accounts.
- Develop agenda and presentation materials for the quarterly investment committee meeting. Draft meeting minutes and coordinate completion of all committee requests.
- Manage cash availability for monthly funding requests from investment accounts. Ensure asset allocations remain in line with the investment plan policy manuals.
- Monitor, track, manage and support performance & interactions with various fund managers and alternative assets including capital calls and fund distributions.
- Analyze and generate quarterly Risk Management reports; work with accounting to set appropriate insurance reserves.
- Calculate and analyze outstanding claim exposure, review claim payments and forecast future claims experience to support reserves and budget.
- Produce and analyze annual risk cost budget for allocation to each Haworth sector and department; develop monthly recurring journal entries.
- Utilize resources to generate exposure information and/or answer questionnaires to complete annual renewal of global insurance programs.
- Attend on-site engineering reviews with property insurance carrier. Support efforts to implement recommendations to reduce loss potential.
- Develop Risk Management audit schedules as required by outside financial auditors or insurance carriers.
- Must be able to perform all essential job function with/without accommodation.
- Uses office automation, communication, software, and tools used in Haworth office environment.
- Performs other duties within scope as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or math relevant field of study.
- Education Equivalency:
- Associate's degree plus 2 years related experience or,
- High school diploma plus4 years related experience.
Experience:
- 5 years related experience with Bachelor's degree or,
- 3 years related experience with Master's degree.
- Equivalent Military experience.
*Related experience is defined as working experience in Finance, Accounting, Risk, Insurance, Investment, or other Treasury functions. In addition:
- Applicants must be able to work in Holland, MI without relocation assistance.
- Applicants must possess an unrestricted right to work in the US to be eligible for this position.
- Minimal travel.
