Job Description

We're looking for a dynamic Plant Manager to lead our Hanover, PA paper conversion manufacturing facility - part of our Protective Packaging division. This leader will own plant operations, driving performance across safety, quality, production, logistics, and team development while fostering a culture of innovation, change readiness, and continuous improvement. A strong mechanical background is highly valued to support technical decision-making and equipment optimization.

  • Lead Operations: Oversee daily plant activities with a focus on safety, efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Drive Performance: Implement strategies to increase output, reduce costs, and optimize plant resources.
  • Inspire Teams: Build, lead, and develop high-performing teams across production, maintenance, and support functions.
  • Champion Change: Lead change management initiatives that improve agility, employee engagement, and operational success.
  • Promote Safety & Sustainability: Foster a zero-harm culture while delivering eco-conscious, high-quality products.
  • Collaborate Strategically: Align plant goals with corporate initiatives across supply chain, finance, and sales.
  • Advance Continuous Improvement: Lead Lean initiatives and process improvements to boost productivity and performance.

You're a results-driven, people-centric leader who thrives in fast-paced manufacturing environments. You think strategically, act decisively, and lead by example.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical preferred)
  • 5+ years of manufacturing/operational leadership experience; 3+ as Plant Manager
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on understanding of industrial equipment and systems
  • Proven track record in leading organizational change and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Expertise in safety, quality, operations, and financial oversight
  • Experience with Lean/Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher preferred)
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to lead in a matrixed, collaborative environment
