The Analyst II/Energy Efficiency is an individual contributor involved in ongoing supervised activities within the functional area. This position is responsible for assisting subject matter experts in analyzing the Company's sustainable gas supply and energy efficiency programs, initiatives, and goals. It may ensure all programs and initiatives are performed as directed. The position will also assist in developing and recommending energy efficiency solutions that maximize the Company's opportunity to offer authorized programs to customers. This position performs a wide variety of activities, including the collection and reporting of program metrics and developing an understanding of the Company's public utility codes, commission orders, energy efficiency programs, research collection practices, sustainability messages and is able to convey that information to various Company employees and outside entities, as necessary.

POSITION DIMENSIONS
This position does have accountability for tracking and reporting on program budgets but does not have accountability for people. The incumbent frequently exchanges information with all levels of personnel within the organization, outside vendors, and consultants.

QUALIFICATIONS
There are broad precedents and practices that the incumbent uses as guidelines to determine how this job is performed. This position requires three to five years of relevant work experience plus a minimum of a bachelor's degree in economics, accounting, finance, statistics, public administration, political science, or a similar field; or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential job responsibilities. Candidates should demonstrate strong technical writing, analytical problem solving, knowledge of spreadsheet software, and the ability to perform in self-directed and collaborative environments.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
* Research and retrieve data to assist in the design and development of the Company's portfolio of approved energy efficiency programs
* Perform energy efficiency program accounting to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate guidelines
* Develop an understanding of energy efficiency and sustainable gas supply issues and topics by researching related regulatory filings of the utilities and current regional and national energy efficiency issues
* Assists in the preparation and maintenance of energy efficiency program applications to add/revise terms and conditions and program structure, as necessary, consistent with regulatory and legal requirements
* Assists in the preparation of content in support of all regulatory filings, including written testimony, data request development and response, and other related regulatory duties
* Assists with internal and external regulatory monthly, quarterly, and annual compliance, energy efficiency participation, and spending filings
* Assists with gathering data used for quality assurance analysis on rebate processing, program summary reports, and other related processes
* Assists with the maintenance of key performance metrics to measure product and program effectiveness and drive continuous improvement activities
* Supports the development of departmental procedures and ensures they are appropriately updated and maintained
* Reviews and manages energy efficiency vendor contracts to ensure they are appropriately updated and maintained
* Supports accurate accounting processes related to invoicing and vendor contract maintenance
* Develops and maintains relationships with vendors, community outreach organizations, and other utilities to perform targeted outreach with the Company's customers to encourage participation in the Company's portfolio of approved energy efficiency programs
* Supports coordination with internal departments on compliance requirements and regulatory impacts ordered by the commissions and recommends alternative business practices, as appropriate
* Perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned
* Regular and predictable attendance is a condition of employment and is an essential function of the job

SALARY DETAILS:

Las Vegas: $66,076 - $95,816
