Southwest Concrete Paving is an established concrete paving company specializing in military airfield construction across the western United States. The Batch Plant Laborer will maintain production of concrete mix, maintenance and set up/tear down of batch plant sites for concrete paving projects. This position will be a travelling position where the qualified applicant will be required to integrate and travel with a paving crew to assist in all assigned functions. The individual must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced work environment. Some night and weekend work will be required.

PRIMARY DUTIES

• Inspect, Grease and Oil machinery
• Clean dirt/debris from conveyors and organize material
• Service/repair machinery
• Set up/take down plant
• Fill trucks with concrete mix
• Replace worn parts (screens, hammers, anvils, etc.)
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be willing to travel up to 100%
• Must be available to work all shifts including days, nights, and/or weekends
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 18 years of age

EXPERIENCE

• Experience working with Concrete Batch Plants preferred

In addition to a competitive salary of $25.00 per hour, Davis Bacon Rates apply on participating projects.
