Maintenance Supervisor - Wichita Falls, TX

Vitro, North America's largest manufacturer of architectural and automotive glass is currently seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for their Maintenance Department at its Wichita Falls, Texas location. This position executes maintenance support for the plant's strategic and production plans. This position manages uptime and production throughout by implementing proven professional maintenance and reliability improvement processes that are aligned with the VOPEX TPM Pilar. The Maintenance Supervisor will lead and supervise the activities of the maintenance team by coordinating and scheduling job assignments.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and evaluate corrective, preventative, and predictive maintenance procedures and jobs completed by staff
• Assist and support team with machine troubleshooting and technical expertise
• Prioritize maintenance resources for each shift based on equipment downtime and equipment capability
• Maintains maintenance teams man- power strength to cover all workstations during critical disruptions within the plant
• Coordinate over-time and manage vacations
• Performs a variety of related duties including, but not limited to, filling out reports, keeping accurate logs, KPI's, safety inspections, VOPEX, housekeeping, and ordering and maintaining materials and supplies.
• Observes all safety rules and procedures; performs work is a safe and orderly manner
• Responsible for leading and developing their assigned maintenance team, which will include, assessing training needs, providing resources for training, accountability for job expectations, working with the maintenance team on hiring decisions, and other personnel issues as needed.

Experience/ Education:

• Engineering Degree preferred in , but not required
• 10+ years of direct experience in industrial maintenance required
