Language Proficiency Assessor

The International Center for Language Studies (ICLS) is a woman-owned, independent language school based in Washington, DC with over 58 years of experience delivering high-quality training in ESL and over 85 foreign languages. ICLS is currently seeking experienced Language Testers to asses Language Proficiency for adult professionals at the ICLS schoolhouse in Washington, DC., or online. Testing assignments vary depending on the testing needs.

* Certified Testing experience in the target language.

* Thorough understanding of and applying ILR Skill Level Descriptions/ACTFL Standards

* Thorough understanding of scoring methodology in high-stakes testing situations

*Excellent communication skills and ability to work comfortably in a team setting

Bachelor's Degree

Familiarity with government testing formats (eg. OPI, Department of State, and Department of Defense)
