In 2003, our manufacturing facility was established in the South Industrial Park of Terre Haute, Indiana. In addition, we have an office on northeast side of Indianapolis where the Procurement and Supplier Development Department, Business Development and Product Engineering are now located. We have a third location in Troy, Michigan which houses our Sales Engineering, Logistics Distribution Center for USA, and Customer Resident Engineering. Your responsibilities SUMMARY: The global key account manager is the lead contact with Ford to develop our business for steering components and systems. The global key account manager is required to interface between the customer, local account managers and the management and development teams. The employee must be self-directive, pro-active, have technical knowledge of steering systems (or ability to learn), networking capabilities and to work in a team environment. Your profile Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics or equivalent field with over 10 years experience in sales/engineering in the automotive industry or similar industry with an understanding of competition, product positioning, target markets and proven success in developing long term customer relationships. A proven track record showing close business ties with to US located OEM's and familiar with their internal processes. Technical knowledge of steering systems is preferred. Candidate must have strong motivational, negotiation and persuasive skills. In addition, the candidate must have expert skills in analytical thinking, networking, and strategizing.
