Position Summary: The Retail Dealer Specialist is responsible for approving and maintaining the add-on product list, new dealer setup, funding Dealer loans, and assisting with Dealer floor plan audits. The person in this position will work closely with Consumer Underwriting and the Dealer Sales Team to build strong relationships with dealerships. This role is eligible for hybrid work from home opportunity under the work from home guidelines up to one day per week upon completion of onboarding.

Essential Functions:



  • Responsible for maintaining the approved add-on product list by updating, adding, and removing current dealership add-on products. Work with Dealerships to obtain documentation to determine add-on product eligibility, product disclosure on contracts, and outstanding refunds as needed.
  • Determine if dealership add-on products are eligible to be sold on loans sent to UBT and how the products should appear on dealer contracts. Contact dealerships when contracts are sent back for overages on back-end products.
  • Work closely with Consumer Loan Underwriters when determining product eligibility and communicate any product/dealer concerns with the UW Manager.
  • Build relationships with Dealerships by serving as a contact when the Sales Team is unavailable as well as visiting dealerships with the Sales Team.
  • Contact dealerships on all chargebacks and reserve funds and work with Consumer Underwriting and Sales teams to determine next steps.
  • Work closely with the Dealer Sales team and communicate updates and/or concerns.
  • Verify documentation and complete system setups for new Dealerships and perform updates to existing dealers.
  • Process and fund Dealer Loans and monitor and track loan funding queues.
  • Provide operational guidance and support to Dealers and Underwriters. Personal
  • Serve as a backup for Dealer Floor Plan monthly audits.
  • Ensure all transactions meet compliance with bank, regulatory guidelines and customer service standards.
  • Understand and adhere to all bank policies, laws and regulations applicable to their role. Complete compliance training; follow internal processes and controls as required.
  • Report all compliance issues, violations of law or regulations in accordance with the steps defined in bank policies.
  • Perform other reasonable related duties as assigned.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.


Qualifications:



  • College degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years processing and/or funding experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years banking experience preferred.
  • Well- developed knowledge and understanding of bank/government regulations and loan policy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products and in working with other company software.
  • Strong researching abilities.

Working Environment:

Light work-ability to lift and/or carry up to 20 lbs. occasionally.
