We maintain one of the largest and most diversified selections of valves, actuators, actuation accessories and specialty PFF in North America, comprised of more than 50 major manufacturers. We provide in-house valve automation services, including CAD design and drawings, machine, fabrication, assembly shops featuring CNC machinery, and automation repair work. The Project Account Manager - Automation is responsible for developing customer relationships by identifying customer needs, informing customers about the company's products or services, providing solutions, and recommending new and better products. Handles customer requests and issues via telephone, fax or email. Coordinates with the outside sales team and other departments to ensure that customers receive the best service possible. Responsible for increasing sales within a specified territory through the development of relationships with potential customers and strengthening relationships with existing customers. Responsible for attaining established sales quotas and part margin objectives.

Some of the exciting things you will do in this role...

  • Prepare detailed estimates and project bids tailored to meet the specific needs of customers and end users.

  • Maintaining strong relationships with assigned customer accounts.

  • Provide timely and accurate information on products, pricing, terms and conditions, credit terms, and Incoterms.

  • Interact with customers, vendors, and associates to address customer, service, or product-related needs or issues.

  • Share insights on market trends and competitive activity across relevant company channels.

  • Assign or delegate tasks and responsibilities as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications...

  • Project /Technical valve and automation experience.

  • Familiarity with EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) processes and specification compliance.

A must...

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or a combination of education and experience relevant to our products or industry.

  • 3-5 years of successful inside sales experience in an industrial environment.

  • Proven technical sales experience in the valve and automation industry.

  • Strong customer relationship management skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and overall computer literacy in a fast-paced office setting.

  • Ability to interpret technical requirements and effectively communicate solutions internally and to customers.

  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.

Environmental Requirements...

  • Work is performed in a comfortable indoor environment; exposure to unpleasant conditions is rare and not objectionable.

  • The role primarily involves sitting, with frequent opportunities to move around; occasional lifting or moving of light items may be required.

  • Occasional overnight travel, typically less than 10% of the time.
