As a Elite Security Officer - Armed Mall Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As an Armed Patrol Officer in a retail environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence for customers and staff. This armed post requires you to conduct routine patrols throughout the location, respond to incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity. Your role is essential in maintaining a secure and welcoming atmosphere for everyone at the site.

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter, observing for any unusual activity or security-related incidents.
• Assist in helping to deter theft, vandalism, or other unwanted behaviors within the retail environment.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of observations, incidents, and activities during patrols.
• Collaborate with store staff and management to address concerns and support a welcoming environment for customers and employees.
• Remain alert to potential hazards or suspicious activity and take appropriate action according to site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must possess an Armed Guard Card or License as required by state or local regulations.
• Must have Level III Armed Certification if applying for a position in Texas.
• Must have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military experience or possess a college degree or 5+ years of Armed security experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
