Sr. Application Engineer

Sr. Application Engineer. Cupertino, CA. Maintain and grow customer relationships with customer engineering teams. Identify and evaluate new component business opportunities. Capture and understand customer requirements for new product applications (technical, timing, validation, etc.) and communicate back to internal organization. Capture and summarize the "Voice of the Customer." Provide engineering support to customers (prints, specifications, validation testing, samples). Support internal quote process. Support internal and customer reviews (design, technical, component evaluation, vehicle packaging, etc.). Provide pre-launch/launch support for customers. Formally track open issues with the customer. Support customer and internally initiated change management. Ensure compliance with customer-specific requirements. Work closely with cross-functional areas to develop and refine catalog and new products. Establish and participate in face-to-face meetings with the customer. Support customer design development with cost savings and enhancement suggestions. Provide technical support to customers in pre- and post-sales stages, including troubleshooting, resolving technical issues, and answering product-related questions. Requires bachelor's degree in Mechatronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering and three years of experience in the automotive industry. Salary Range: $128,690 to $148,500. Experience must include: developing and manufacturing electrical products for vehicles, delivering technical design information to customers, owning the full product lifecycle of automotive systems, reviewing mechanical designs and electrical schematics, and participating in Part Production Approval Process (PPAP).
