POSITION & REQUIREMENTS SUMMARY:

Join a rapidly growing company in the healthcare industry! We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Production Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for the assembly, configuration, and preparation of medical simulators to ensure they meet our highest standards of quality, accuracy, and performance. The ideal candidate brings a blend of technical expertise, hands-on problem-solving, and strong organizational skills to thrive in a fast-paced production environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Print and manage sales order documentation to ensure accurate and timely processing.
  • Prepare and stage medical simulators according to specifications.
  • Image and configure computers and tablets to integrate with simulator systems.
  • Connect simulators to tablets and/or wall-mounted All-in-One PCs as required.
  • Verify all components and accessories against sales orders to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Use the Deltek Costpoint ERP system to issue items and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Prepare simulators for final quality control inspection, ensuring readiness for shipment.
  • Pack simulators and components securely to ensure safe transit.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware and system configuration.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with safety protocols.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Technical certification or associate degree in electronics, IT, or a related field preferred.

PREFERRED:

  • 1-3 years of experience in production, manufacturing, or assembly, preferably in the medical device, electronics, or healthcare simulation industries.
  • Comfortable working in an agile, fast-paced environment with an iterative development process. You enjoy solving complex design challenges and adapting your work based on real-world feedback from healthcare settings.
  • Prior experience working with sophisticated technical products.
  • Familiarity with quality assurance processes or regulated production environments.

GENERAL:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, ideally Deltek Costpoint.
  • Experience imaging/configuring computers and tablets; capable of installing software and performing system setup.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and critical thinking ability.
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
  • Adaptable to shifting priorities and production demands.
  • Effective communication skills for coordinating with peers and leadership.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical instructions and documentation.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to lift or push weight up to 60 pounds (simulators).
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment.
