Summary:
This position reports to the Supply Chain Manager and will be responsible for ensuring the timely availability of materials and resources to meet production and customer demand. This includes forecasting demand, managing inventory, and coordinating with various internal and external stakeholders to optimize the flow of goods and minimize costs. Assists in the root cause, corrective action process for issues in product and process quality. Serves as a liaison between customers, manufacturing facilities, vendors and the Company in support of Company goals and objectives.
Key responsibilities:
- Extracts data from the ERP system and PowerBI to create new reports and use existing reports to identify plant load and capacity issues while identifying orderbook trends.
- Responsible for all inventory accuracy throughout the facility.
- Monitor and adjust inventory levels to avoid stockouts and excess inventory.
- Manage purchase orders, and work with inventory management systems to ensure appropriate inventory levels and timely delivery.
- Manages and reports inventory accuracy and cycle count results monthly to finance.
- Identify potential supply chain disruptions and develop contingency plans.
- Analyze data on supplier performance, cost, and delivery times to identify areas for improvement and generate reports for management.
- Analyze supplier costs, identify opportunities for cost reduction, and work within a budget to obtain the best possible value.
- Collaborating with suppliers to ensure timely and reliable delivery of materials.
- Performs necessary preliminary work and gathers information upon which to base purchasing decisions in assigned areas of vendor items and within dollar limits.
- Accurately analyzing the orderbook demand is crucial for effective planning and development of production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements
- Collaborate with the production team to create production schedules and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Serves in an advisory capacity to assist other departments to obtain proper specifications, quotations, delivery terms, quality and costs.
- Recommends purchases and procedures for endorsement to improve or affect cost savings.
- Working effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations.

Requirements:
- Associate's Degree (Business Administration) or its equivalent with at least 4 years of relevant planning/scheduling experience.
- Requires exercise of sound judgment, critical thinking/analysis and ingenuity. Ability to interact successfully with a wide variety and levels of people/organizations, both inside and outside the Company.
- An excellent understanding of ERP systems and parameters is required at a minimum.
- Experience with Infor XA MAPICS is a definite bonus.
- Must be able to effectively interact at all levels of the Company with strong written and communication skills.
- Must be computer literate with high proficiency in MS Office and business planning systems software.
- Stand, sit, bend, lift, push, pull, and safely work in manufacturing environment. May have to lift occasionally up to 40 pounds with full mobility.
