Summary

Balfour Beatty is hiring a for a multi-role position. This role will include coordination for the Equipment Rental Business as well as a field role, filling in on projects, performing work on projects and other activites as necessary for the business.

Essential Functions



  • Maintains an equipment database; develops and maintains equipment budgets, works with Equipment
  • Demonstrates proficiency using a personal computer (PC) and company communication tools, such as email, internet, accounting applications and Microsoft products (e.g., Word, Excel, Office).
  • Direct the evaluation of equipment and related systems with respect to age, condition, and useful life; conduct inventory audits
  • Direct the preparation of project cost estimates for inclusion into owner/client proposals.


  • Deal with ad hoc transport arrangements; including arranging servicing and hiring vehicles when required.
  • Register vehicles with DMV; obtain CMV renewal components when missing from DMV mailed registration renewal documents.


  • Coordinates delivery and installation of equipment to job sites.


  • Ensure equipment is maintained and repaired in a timely manner
  • Dealing with delivery and collections.
  • Schedule and track equipment inspections
  • Comfortable with hauling trailers in various locations : City, Interstate, etc.
  • Attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Standing for extended periods of time; assisting with bending, lifting, and carrying heavy boxes of files, etc.
  • Be present on jobsites, training and other events where required
  • Fill in for vacancies on projects where needed; being on-site and help the jobsite teams
  • Be available in emergency events; sometimes during nights and/or weekends
  • Perform other related duties as needed


Education, Experience, and Knowledge



  • Bachelor's degree in Management, Business, or a related field with 3 years of office experience preferred; or related equivalent work experience.
  • Demonstrates proficiency using a personal computer (PC) and company communication tools, such as email, internet, accounting applications and Microsoft products (e.g., Word, Excel, Office).
  • Experience in contracts administration, business operations, or supply chain management.
