Cost Estimator Ashburn VA Pay From : $130,000/yr MUST : Eligible for Public Trust 12+ years of SME level experience in Cost related field 8+ years of Cost Estimation experience Experience providing strategic guidance and detailed analysis Experience creating and preparing estimates at completion (EACs) Proficiency in MS Office Suite of products Strong communication skills both written and verbal Ability to speak to all levels of leadership and present findings in meetings Well-organized and able to prioritize tasks High attention to detail Bachelor's Degree or higher ed is required DUTIES : The ideal candidate will serve as a Sr Cost estimator on the team and will be responsible for supporting the cost estimate reconciliation process, examining for completeness, analyzing similarities and differences, and resolving problems of duplication or omission Understanding the organizational policies and procedures for accuracy of solutions and deliverables to the client Perform operational analysis on maintenance projects Providing recommendations on cost realism Providing inputs to independent cost estimates (for life cycle costs and other cost activities) Preparing estimates at completion (EAC) for work conducted by a government activity Providing an IGCE narrative detailing how each IGCE was developed with specific assumptions, calculations, and supporting analyses in sufficient detail for procurement package Analyze, evaluate & provide recommendations for Total Estimated Planned Value (TEPV) and Life Cycle Cost Estimate (LCCE) Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
