Job Summary

As a Data Analyst, you will support B2B customer retention by identifying opportunities and delivering actionable insights to stakeholders. Your role involves generating reports and analyses to reduce ARPU erosion and churn, improving save rates and retention KPIs. You will craft and present data-driven findings, growth opportunities, and strategic recommendations to business stakeholders.

The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, technically proficient, and inquisitive, with at least 2 years of advanced data analytics experience, preferably in a subscription-based business.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, insights, and opportunities to increase revenue, improve sales operations, and decrease customer attrition.
  • Conduct pricing, product, churn propensity, customer segmentation, and revenue forecast analyses.
  • Fulfill ad hoc requests from stakeholders for data, reports, and one-off analyses.
  • Design and build data visualizations using Excel and PowerPoint to present analyses clearly and compellingly.
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor dashboards and reports to track key churn and retention KPIs.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of data and analytics experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to tell a compelling story using data.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, even with incomplete information.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Persuasive communication and interpersonal skills, able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with minimal supervision.

Technical Skills

  • Minimum 2 years of advanced SQL experience.
  • Experience with GCP, BigQuery, Tableau (or other BI tools), Salesforce Lightning, and advanced Excel (e.g., Coefficient, charts, graphs, pivot tables, VLookups).
  • Experience with Python and R is a plus.

This position is identified as being performed in/or reporting to company operations in New York State. Salary ranges are supplied in compliance with New York State law. Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $77,112.00-$110,160.00/year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
