Pricing Analyst General Administrative

PURPOSE

Aids in implementing pricing strategies while supporting Sales/Operations and other members of the Pricing Team. Participates in maintaining price and cost information.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES




  • Support the creation of Market level pricing strategies by analyzing and understanding existing processes and tools.
  • Execute system setup and maintenance required to seamlessly implement pricing systems, tools, and processes.
  • Host market specific training, tailoring content to market needs and highlighting best practices.
  • Coordinate with Manager of Pricing to develop training content for tools and reports necessary to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Support Director of Pricing in documenting and implementing company-wide initiatives.
  • Leverage cost analysis tools and exception reporting to ensure timely and accurate updates of replacement costs.
  • Present system enhancement recommendations to Product Owner to address Sales/Operations' needs.
  • Foster culture of people development and continual learning by coaching teammates to ensure individual, team, and company success.
  • Leverage analytics suite to identify opportunities and present recommendations to Pricing Manager and Sales/Operations.
  • Engage with Sales/Operations to support recurring process to establish and maintain accurate and competitive pricing.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.




  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance/Accounting, IT, Engineering.
  • Minimum of 2 years of related work experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Proficiency managing large datasets in Microsoft Excel.
  • 3 years of experience in analytical field - preference given to disciplines focused on Sales, Margin, or Cost Analysis
  • 2-3 years of experience coaching teammates
  • Demonstrated producing analytics packages
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills (Excel - vlookups, pivot tables, etc)
  • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written

  • Requires approximately 10% travel and may require some travel to attend market specific engagements.
