This position will provide Senior techno-functional solution expertise to the Oracle Fixed Assets (OFA), Oracle Projects (PPM) as part of Finance workstream within TIS ERP Delivery. This position is responsible for providing enterprise business solutions support of integrated Oracle Cloud ERP system to meet the business needs of the Enbridge Finance stakeholders across Enbridge business units

What You Will Do:
  • Take a lead role in providing business solutions by integrating enterprise and business unit specific requirements working with Enbridge Capital Asset Stakeholders

  • Provide functional product expertise, guidance, operational support on Oracle Fixed assets and Project Module

  • Drive the system solution designs that address the needs of key stakeholders from the business, solution delivery and operations areas.

  • Support continuous improvements in the area of Project Accounting, Capital Assets & Tax Depreciation through identifying areas and ideas for improvement and carrying out continuous system improvement initiatives.

  • Maintain domain Application-System knowledge and keeps abreast of solution development progress on Oracle Fixed Assets, Project portfolio and Tax solution

  • Engage Business SMEs to gather and derive business and systems requirements and translate them into functional - technical specifications.

  • Apply cross-functional business processes, identify fit gaps and propose remediation.

  • Oversee and problem solve complex system issues in respective application portfolio to determine the best course of action.

  • Lead business change in support of solution design and implementation. Document systems and their interdependencies in the form of system specifications.

  • Work closely with other technology disciplines across integration, data, security, application and reporting.

Who You Are:
  • Significant exposure to Oracle or similar ERP applications

  • 6+ years or more experience in a large-scale business environment is required

  • Degree in Computer Science or Accounting/Finance, or equivalent combination of education and experience, with a strong accounting/business focus

  • Strong knowledge of functional accounting and finance principles and a professional accounting designation will be considered an asset

  • Strong hands on experience Implementing / Supporting Oracle modules such Oracle Project Portfolio Management (PPM), Oracle Fixed Assets, General Ledger, Financial Accounting Hub, Subledger Accounting and it's integration to other Oracle ERP Modules

  • Experience working with Oracle ERP Cloud SaaS, PaaS & BI Technologies to implement and support OFA Extensions and Custom BI reports

  • Stress levels can be above normal as the work is highly visible, and decisions affect all integrated processes associated with new or changed business or operations.

  • Travel, e.g., 4 to 6 times per year between Enbridge regions/office locations
