Job Summary

The Sr. Inventory Optimization Analyst will work with team members to define inventory targets supporting the short-term and long-range financial plans through model refreshes and updates, as well as business insight conversations at the planner, manager, director, and senior director levels.

Primary Duties

  • Maintain the monthly inventory projection process by publishing tools use & supporting partners with tools use & process questions to ensure inventory targets are met while achieving customer service targets
  • Provide data analytics, insights, and recommendations at a relevant and practical level to achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly inventory targets
  • Create, improve, and manage tools and processes that drive accountability at the supply/demand planner manufacturing site and squad level for inventory targets
  • Lead project management for strategic initiatives across functional business segments
  • Generate excitement & understanding on inventory management processes and strategies as well as links to other functions across the organization
  • Provide ongoing support to users and develop their understanding of inventory optimization concepts
  • Build a culture of engagement & deep understanding of inventory at all levels of the organization


Qualifications

  • Ability to be agile and flexible to adjust course with a dynamic consumer business is preferred
  • Strong project management skills with a focus on change management are preferred
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret large amounts of data are preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills and be able to work efficiently in a collaborative team environment are preferred
  • Strong influencing and communication skills are preferred
  • Ability to understand the details of data and to summarize concisely to present, share, and influence at all levers of the organization are preferred


Education / Experience

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required
