Verifies and maintains ownership of the company's properties to ensure accurate distribution of revenue to all interest owners and accurate billing of related expenses.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Reviews and verifies division orders on purchaser's and outside operated properties.
  • Reviews legal documentation from interest owners and advises curative needed for change of ownership, suspended revenue, and any other matters concerning their interest.
  • Interact with owners to obtain additional documentation.
  • Determines company's working interest is calculated correctly for accounts payable/receivable.
  • Analyzes division order title opinions to verify interests and ensure satisfaction of requirements.
  • Prepares and processes division orders and transfer orders as operator obligations or marketing arrangement dictate.
  • Monitors and maintains company's division of interest decks.
  • Coordinate with Revenue and JIB Accounting groups for assigned areas/asset.
  • Assists interest owners with inquiries, advising owners of proper procedures and requirements.
  • Assist in the resolution of working and royalty owner inquiries by interacting with the Revenue and JIB accounting groups.
  • Verifies source of unidentified cash and escheated funds to ensure the proper distribution of these funds.
  • Adheres to the company's values - integrity, ownership, urgency, alignment and innovation.
  • Supports company vision and mission.
  • Adheres to established work schedule, attendance standards and is punctual to work and meetings.

Other Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional associations.
  • Maintains employee confidence and protects corporate assets, including intellectual property, by keeping information confidential.
  • Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other departments, officials, and the public.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Three (3-5) years minimum division order analysis experience OR PLM Degree, with working knowledge of new and changing technology, statutes, rules, regulations, and legislative issues affecting the oil and gas industry.
  • Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities without close supervision.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to perform tasks and achieve results with a high degree of accuracy and precision.
  • Ability to anticipate approaching problems and establish strategic plans for future success.
  • Strong ability to utilize a variety of analytical techniques to identify and solve problems.
  • Ability to be consistent, dependable, and accurate in carrying out responsibilities to a successful conclusion.
  • Proficiency in the use and application of the following software:
    • Required: Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint) and oil and gas related land software.
    • Preferred: Power BI, SQL, Microsoft Access and SAP Software.

Education Requirements:

  • Preferred: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four year university or college.

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:

  • Preferred: PLM Degree
