As a Senior Workday HRIS Analyst, you will serve as a strategic partner and system expert, responsible for maintaining the integrity and performance of the Workday platform while driving innovation and optimization across HR processes. With deep experience and a proactive mindset, you will lead the evaluation and application of new Workday functionality, collaborate cross-functionally to enhance system capabilities, and serve as a key advisor in Workday governance, configuration, and user support.

Strategic System Ownership & Innovation:

  • Actively monitor and assess Workday's product roadmap, recommending and implementing new features to support company initiatives and align with industry best practices.

  • Lead Workday governance and change control processes, ensuring proposed system updates and new modules are vetted for scalability, compliance, and end-user impact.

  • Collaborate with HR, IT, and business leaders to translate organizational strategies into system configurations and optimized business processes.

  • Drive the development of project plans and scenario testing for Workday upgrades, patches, and enhancements.

System Maintenance & Configuration:

  • Maintain the integrity of system structure, security roles, and core configurations within Workday.

  • Coordinate with technical teams and functional partners to manage system changes, bulk data loads, and regular tenant maintenance activities.

  • Perform and document system changes, configuration updates, and administrative actions (e.g., new locations, accrual adjustments, EIB data loads).

  • Ensure system support materials, user documentation, and training guides are updated and communicated to the appropriate audiences.

Advanced Reporting & Data Management:

  • Create, maintain, and optimize advanced Workday reports and dashboards; support data-driven decision-making for HR leadership and business units.

  • Run scheduled and on-demand reports for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Conduct ongoing data audits and monitor security and data integrity controls.

  • Identify areas for policy or procedural improvements that protect data accuracy and align with regulatory expectations globally.

Project Leadership & Implementation Support:

  • Serve as a Workday workstream lead or SME on HRIS projects, including new module implementations and global expansions.

  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives to evaluate the impact of business changes on the HR system landscape.

  • Assist with the semi-annual Workday update process by coordinating release review, testing plans, issue tracking, and stakeholder communication.

End-User Support & Enablement:

  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for HR system users; diagnose and resolve complex issues or escalate appropriately.

  • Assist in the design and delivery of training sessions for HR teams and system users.

  • Support cyclical HR processes such as annual performance reviews and compensation planning via configuration and troubleshooting.

Governance, Compliance & Best Practices:

  • Collaborate with global HR and compliance teams to ensure system processes and configurations meet organizational policy and data governance standards.

  • Identify and address potential gaps in process or documentation that could compromise control integrity.

  • Participate in the global HCM Workday community to stay informed of platform advancements and peer best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, IT, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 10-15 years of experience in HRIS, with deep, hands-on Workday experience across multiple modules (e.g., Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, Time Tracking, Absence).
  • Proven ability to manage complex Workday configurations and system enhancements.
  • Advanced reporting and analytics experience using Workday Report Writer and Calculated Fields (Prism Analytics a plus).
  • Demonstrated experience leading enterprise-level HRIS projects and release management.
  • Strong understanding of global HR data management, security, and compliance requirements.
  • Workday Pro certification(s) highly preferred.
