UCF College of Nursing will be moving to UCF Academic Health Sciences Campus at Lake Nona in July 2025.

The Opportunity:

The University of Central Florida (UCF) College of Nursing (CON) is seeking well-qualified candidates for a Travel & Procurement Coordinator II position. The Travel & Procurement Coordinator serves as a member of the college's Finance Business Center team and will support faculty and staff within the college with financial transactions. The Travel & Procurement Coordinator provides great customer service and support, confirms compliance with university fiscal policy and uniform guidance, and ensures costs are captured correctly for financial reporting.

Responsibilities:


  • Support requests for the procurement of goods and services, ensuring applicable policies and regulations are adhered to and transactions are processed timely manner and properly reflect the receipt of goods or services.

  • Support travel requests, creating and reviewing Spend Authorizations and Expense Reports. Assists with travel arrangements, receipt/documentation collection, and reimbursement requests to ensure applicable policies and regulations are adhered to.

  • Assist with researching suppliers and obtaining quotes for goods and services, as needed. identifies, submits, and reviews applicable contracts for review and applies guidelines in accordance with policies and regulations.

  • Initiate and review requisitions, manage purchase orders, and initiate change orders, as needed. Create receipts and supplier invoices or purchasing card transactions to ensure timely payments.

  • Reconcile/verify purchasing card transactions, ensuring applicable policies and regulations are adhered to and transactions are allowable, required documentation is provided, and transactions are accurate.

  • Support and train all College of Nursing stakeholders as experts on procurement-related and travel-related processes and procedures.

  • Reconcile all purchases and financial transactions.

  • Other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent and (2+) years of relevant experience or a combination of relevant comparable education and experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219. Click here for more information

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience in government and/or higher education settings.

  • Experience with UCF financial system (Workday).

  • Flexible and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • Customer service oriented.

  • Ability to work independently.
