Basic Function
Manage the endowed fund reporting process efficiently to support the college's stewardship efforts. Oversee the student acknowledgment program for designated scholarships, stipends, and awards.
Essential Job Functions
Coordinate and manage the endowed fund reporting process, which provides impact information for the college's most generous benefactors. Secure fund reporting information from academic and administrative offices to provide endowed fund reports to donors who have made a significant gift to support current operations, capital projects, and/or endowed initiatives.
Administer a student acknowledgement program, which encourages students to thank donors for the scholarship funds they receive in their financial aid packages.
Collaborate with other departments across campus for summer scholars, summer stipends, financial aid scholarship assignments, fund assignments, and departmental awards.
Arrange and coordinate campus visits between scholarship donors and student recipients when appropriate.
Serve on the college's Tree and Landscape Committee to keep the department apprised of any updates that may impact existing donor benches and trees.
Oversee the annual stewardship of donors who support a Chair or Professorship on campus.
Assist the Executive Director of Donor Relations with developing collateral material and messaging that honors a strong history of philanthropic giving.
Lead several on- and off-campus annual stewardship events.
Assist with the production of timely, personalized, and tailored correspondence for leadership donors.
Partner with the Executive Director of Donor Relations to support academic offices with their use of gift funds, identify any issues, and work across the college to recommend and implement solutions to ensure maximum impact of philanthropic dollars.
Participate in professional activities to stay current with trends in the field.
Participate as an active member of the University community by attending regular department meetings, campus events, and off-campus activities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
A bachelor's degree. Five years of experience in stewardship, fundraising, or a related field. High level of professionalism and the ability to work collaboratively with a range of audiences, including faculty, students, advancement colleagues, university staff, and donors. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong ability to work with Google Suite. Ability to think both creatively and strategically about donor engagement. Strong organizational skills to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects. Careful attention to detail. Flexible, positive attitude and ability to work both independently and as a member of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience within a University setting. Raiser's Edge experience or experience with databases.
