This position is located on Kwajalein Atoll in the Marshall Islands. It is an unaccompanied position (no family accommodations or pets). Benefits of this unique location include free housing, three meals a day and potential for overseas tax incentives.

Essential Functions
  • Serve as Security Specialist Professional responsible for performing various security functions, such as:
  • Administrative support for security office duties such as:
    • Common Access Cards (CAC) and System Access Authorization Requests (SAAR)
    • Document Control
    • In-Processing/Out-Processing Personnel
    • Personnel Security Reporting
    • Personnel Security Clearances (PCL)
    • Provide general security briefing with provided content
    • Reagan Test Site (RTS) Incoming Visit Authorization Requests
    • Security Education Training & Awareness (SETA)
    • RTS Facility Access Control & Intrusion Detection System (IDS)
  • Conduct site visits on Kwajalein Atoll and surrounding islands
    1. Inventory Government Holdings & Property
    2. Secure Area Inspections
    3. Self-Inspections and make recommendations to minimize risks
  • Possess or willing to attain a GSA-Certified Safe and Vault Technician certification, if required
  • Perform lock and key servicing for security containers/locks GSA-approved security containers, if required
  • Support internal/external inspections and assessments
  • Ability to research, interpret, and communicate government directives/regulations with recommendations for implementation.
  • Provide any other reasonable security related support as required by the Security Manager.

Required Skills

  • Basic working knowledge of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (32 CFR Part 117, NISPOM)
  • Disciplined, self-motivated candidate capable of working in an independent or team environment with minimal direction.
  • Communication skills to maintain a positive, on-going relationships with internal / external customers.
  • Firm understanding of what constitutes Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and / or Company Proprietary information and safeguarding methods to prevent unauthorized access.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Experience with all Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Required Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in an administrative support or security related field.
  • Two or more years of relevant administrative support or related security experience.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

  • Ability to initially obtain a DoD Interim Secret Clearance and ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret Clearance within a reasonable amount of time. This requires U.S. Citizenship.
  • Must be able to relocate to the United States Army Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. passport.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a USAG-KA driver's license.
  • This position is unaccompanied.
  • The flexibility to work occasional non-duty hours or on weekends to support specific project or mission requirements.
