Responsibilities

We are looking for a seasoned professional with deep expertise in high-performance computing (HPC) to help shape and implement a secure, multi-level computing platform. This role involves defining technical requirements, evaluating emerging technologies, and contributing to the full systems engineering lifecycle in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with sensitive or classified data and a strong understanding of data protection protocols and best practices.



Qualifications

    Master's degree in computational mathematics + 18 YOE or PhD in computation mathematics +10 YOE in related technical or scientific fields such as engineering, physics, computational chemistry or related STEM degree
  • Demonstrated experience with High Performance Compute (HPC) management including current knowledge of HPC technology and applications, recent experience in obtaining ATO for an HPC system, and application of HPC concepts to Space Situational Awareness
  • Demonstrated experience implementing Multi-Level security requirements (physical and cyber), high performance astrophysics-based capacity, high performance visualization compute capacity, private controlled cloud solutions ,and AI compute and store
  • Experience dealing with data and data sources that exist at multiple classification levels and integrating that data with computation processes that will generate additional data requiring multi-level protections
  • Experience protecting data and implementing controls such as CONMON, MAC, CAD, ABAC, RBAC, RiBAC, PKI, SSO
  • Experience with cross domain solutions
  • Demonstrated experience employing analytics and quantifiable, physics based metric models for data analysis
  • Experience with data fusion models that assess confidence in data accumulated from multiple sources
  • Demonstrated experience with NRO/SAO or AF SPO offices
  • TS/SCI clearance adjudication or ability to obtain SCI and pass a poly

Target Salary Range

$146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
