Job Title: Enterprise Data Engineering ManagerLocation: TX - Dallas/IrvingWhat you'll do: As an IT Manager II you'll serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in one or two functional areas/domains on the system processes and structures that support multiple technology disciplines. In this role, you'll manage mid size teams that deliver functional projects on time and on budget. Additionally, you'll collaborate with internal business partners to proactively address ongoing customer needs and ensure rapid resolution to open issues. In this role you'll foster a collaborative environment with focus on continuous improvement and delivery of working software. As a IT Manager you'll assist IT leadership with the delivery of products and services as well as evaluate technology and set standards. Additionally, you'll recommend improvements to established business processes while continuing to deliver high value in execution. You'll help create and deliver project plans, remove any impediments, and track overall project performance to analyze the successful completion of business short-term and long-term goals.As the Enterprise Data Engineering Manager, you lead, empower, and contribute to a high-performing centralized team of Data Engineers and partnered with Data Analysts and QA Engineers. Your team builds solutions to satisfy the complete data lifecycle management for our enterprise data platforms, including the data controls for data governance and data quality monitoring. The primary focus for this team is the data flows and integration required for Regulatory Reporting. You are a player coach who provides management, product ownership and hands on contribution to the team's solutions. You must demonstrate strong technical mastery as well as an aptitude for business subject matter expertise and the impact the data solutions carry. To be successful, you collaborate with architects, product managers, and business and technical stakeholders to deliver and support enterprise data solutions. You are the champion for growing the data engineering discipline across the IT delivery organization. Your team of full time and professional services staff consists of 2-10 of data professionals who rely on you for direct accountability for their development and productivity. This position is ONSITE ONLY (4 days onsite with 1 remote day) and you must be located in, willing to relocate to, or within a commutable distance from Dallas/Irving, TX, Columbus, OH or Phoenix, AZ.
