HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL DO

The School of Public Health - Population Health Sciences seeks a full-time Sponsored Funded Professional - Research Coordinator II to support the expanding scope of research within the Department of Health Policy & Behavioral Sciences. The increasing complexity and volume of legal, policy, and ethical research related to Alzheimer's disease, aging, and neuroscience necessitate a dedicated Research Coordinator II. This role will facilitate the management and execution of current and future projects, allowing for a more comprehensive and impactful research agenda. This includes the need to support new funding from the Alzheimer's disease Data Initiative, Emory University, and the Alzheimer's Association.

Responsibilities:



  • Collaborate with the Principal Investigator to manage grant project timelines and ensure research tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Work with the GSU School of Public Health Office of Sponsored Research to facilitate the timely submission of grant proposals.
  • Provide administrative support for grant projects, including scheduling and preparing for collaborative meetings as needed.
  • Conduct comprehensive literature reviews for grant proposals and manuscript development.
  • Collaborate with university library staff to execute systematic literature reviews for research projects.
  • Support the summarization and analysis of findings from literature reviews.
