JOB OVERVIEW:

Blue Diamond Growers is seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Integrated Planning to lead our demand and supply planning functions, leveraging SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP). This role is pivotal in ensuring an optimized and resilient supply chain that aligns with business objectives and customer demands. The ideal candidate will drive integrated planning processes, improve forecast accuracy, and enhance end-to-end visibility across the supply chain.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Lead the Integrated Planning Function: Develop and implement a comprehensive IBP-driven demand and supply planning strategy to optimize inventory levels and improve service performance.
  • SAP IBP Implementation & Optimization: Spearhead the design, configuration, and continuous improvement of SAP IBP, ensuring seamless integration with existing ERP systems and business processes.
  • Demand Planning: Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to create a robust demand forecasting process that enhances forecast accuracy and aligns with business objectives.
  • Supply Planning & Optimization: Develop and execute capacity planning, production scheduling, and inventory management strategies to drive operational efficiencies while limiting inventory waste.
  • Managing Network Days of Stock: Ensure inventory levels across the network are aligned with the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) to support business objectives while maintaining optimal stock levels.
  • Long-Term Capacity Planning: Develop and execute long-term capacity planning strategies for both manufacturing and co-manufacturing to support growth, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Lead Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP): Lead the monthly enterprise S&OP process, ensuring cross-functional alignment and proactive decision-making. Drive enterprise-wide alignment and strategic decision-making by leading the end-to-end S&OP process, ensuring that demand and supply strategies are fully integrated across the organization.
  • New Product Introduction & End-of-Life Cycle Management: Develop and integrate planning strategies for new product launches, phase-outs, and overall portfolio management to ensure seamless transitions and optimized inventory levels.
  • Leadership & Development of Planning Team: Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing planning team by providing coaching, career development opportunities, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Utilize advanced analytics and scenario planning within SAP IBP to support strategic decision-making and mitigate supply chain risks.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Finance teams to drive an integrated approach to planning.
  • Performance Metrics & Continuous Improvement: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as forecast accuracy, service levels, inventory turns, waste reduction, and network stock efficiency, driving a culture of continuous improvement.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 10+ years of supply chain planning experience, with a strong emphasis on demand and supply planning.
  • Expertise in SAP IBP (demand, supply, and inventory optimization) with a proven track record of implementation and process enhancement.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and drive decision-making.
  • Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and driving an effective S&OP process.
  • Knowledge of food manufacturing or CPG industries is highly preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and change management skills.

  • Some inter-company travel; potential international travel

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Office role with travel to sites, suppliers and customers on a quarterly basis.
