Description and Requirements

As the Executive Director of SMB, you will lead Lenovo's North American SMB Sales organization, driving strategy, culture and execution across highly engaged SMB direct and indirect extended sales, channel and technical teams. You will be responsible for engaging with and developing key relationships with internal and external leaders to help further develop Lenovo's SMB growth strategy.

What You'll Do...

The Executive Director is responsible for delivering above-market revenue and profit growth, world-class customer experience and overall customer satisfaction. This leader is critical in defining and executing the North American SMB strategy across all complementary product lines and all routes to market.

The ideal candidate is a strategic leader motivated by an entrepreneurial environment with proven success in delivering a structured business management system to run a high-performance sales team to deliver on all business objectives. You work well in a matrixed environment, are results-oriented and driven by excellence, understand how customers leverage technology to drive business success and create relationships through executive-level engagements internally and externally.

Candidates will reside in the Southeast region of the US.

Basic Qualifications:

* 10+ years of sales or go-to-market leadership experience in a technology environment

* A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications:

* Proven success leading quota-carrying sales teams with a demonstrated achievement in delivering on qualitative and quantitative growth objectives

* Experience with second-line leadership is considered an asset, as well as digital transformation, channel, e-commerce, and end-user-focused sales experience

* Demonstrated team-building experience and internal/external leadership, complemented by strong interpersonal and communications skills

* Understanding and functional knowledge of the marketing vehicles and strategies used to drive SMB customer journeys from product research through lead generation to purchase

* Strong planning and operations skills, including the ability to grow existing and new offerings for Lenovo

* Proven Executive presence, strong vision, and can represent Lenovo through multiple mediums - stage, social, small-audience

* Ability to engage and nurture senior-level relationships in the market to drive preference

* Extensive experience with channel partners, managed service providers, integrators, and telecommunications providers in a dynamic technology environment

* Ability to work effectively with and across all levels of business and IT contacts within very large and complex organizations

* Excellent business and financial acumen required

* MBA preferred

* Extensive travel required (~75%)
