Position Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician with a strong background in industrial automation, machine troubleshooting, and PLC control systems to support production-critical equipment. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on technician with extensive experience in diagnosing and repairing issues on Siemens, Fanuc, and Allen-Bradley controllers, down to the board and component level.

Key Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC and other automated machinery with PLC-controlled systems.

Diagnose and resolve faults in Siemens, Fanuc, and Allen-Bradley controller systems.

Perform board-level diagnostics using multimeters, oscilloscopes, or other electronic test equipment.

Interpret electrical schematics, PLC ladder logic, and control system diagrams.

Assist in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for recurring equipment failures.

Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance activities on critical manufacturing equipment.

Support production teams by minimizing downtime and ensuring equipment reliability.

Document repairs, adjustments, and modifications accurately in the CMMS system.

Work collaboratively with engineering, quality, and production teams.

Knowledge of electrical schematics, blueprints, and control diagrams

Ability to read and interpret electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.

Technical diploma or associate's degree in Electronics, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or related field or equivalence

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work overtime as required by Company

Recommend improved work methods and procedures, assist in training employs

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence

Must adhere to all OSHA and EHS policies and all related procedures

Perform related work as required

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have basic computer skills, MS Office program, and have ability to enter data in various software systems.

Pay Range - $36.00 to $50.00 per hour, depending on experience

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to wear a respirator.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving high speed machinery and mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. outside weather conditions, machine oils, metal fillings, acetone, paints, solvents, grease, cutting fluids, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock or vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.

Position Requirements

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) plus 5+ years of experience in industrial or aerospace maintenance or automation support.

Strong technical expertise in troubleshooting Siemens, Fanuc, and Allen-Bradley PLCs.

Proficient with ladder logic, control system wiring, and board-level diagnostics.

Experience working with CNC machines, robotic systems, and industrial automation platforms.

Ability to read and interpret electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.

Technical diploma or associate's degree in Electronics, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or related field.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Working knowledge of materials and supplies used in machining center equipment and building maintenance.
