Financial Business Analyst

STS Technical Services is hiring a Financial Business Analyst to join our client's team in Savannah, Georgia. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a finance professional with strong analytical skills and a passion for turning complex data into business insights that drive strategic decision-making.

In this role, you'll collaborate across departments, build financial models, and help shape the future of an industry-leading organization through performance analysis, forecasting, and operational alignment.

• Prepare and analyze variance reports comparing actual results to forecasts
  
• Develop financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning
  
• Track key performance indicators and recommend strategies for improvement
  
• Partner with business units to understand operational drivers and align financial outcomes
  
• Create monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for executive leadership
  
• Support new project and investment decisions through business case analysis
  
• Collaborate with IT and data teams to enhance financial reporting systems
  
• Present data-driven insights and recommendations to finance and operations teams
  

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  
• 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or business analysis
  
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial modeling
  
• Familiarity with ERP systems and financial planning software
  
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
  

• Experience with SQL or similar data querying tools
  
• Proficiency with Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization platforms
  
• Knowledge of GAAP, balance sheet reconciliation, and variance analysis
  
• Strategic thinking and the ability to connect financial data to business goals
