Position Summary:

This position is primarily responsible for the day-to-day implementation of policies, procedures, and work. That will ensure a well-maintained facility. Maximum emphasis is placed on positive response to the concerns and needs of the company, the leadership, and the performance of facilities related equipment and processes. This is a hands-on position that assists in the coordination of the scheduling and activities of vendors and suppliers required for current and future needs of the facility within constraints of safety, quality, time, and cost.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Possess a clear understanding of and proficiency to use the Fix Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), for data collection, inventory control, and KPI tracking.

  • Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems to include packaging and handling machinery, plumbing systems, kitchen equipment, roofs, drains, shop, grounds equipment, and HVAC.


  • Assist with the scheduling and management of outside service vendors and contractors.
  • Possess a clear understanding of Quality System Documentation and writing procedures and Work Instructions for processes.
  • Clean, lubricate, and service a wide variety of pumps, valves, pneumatic controls, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic devices.
  • Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
  • Replace and repair building finishes such as ceiling tiles, door hardware, wallpaper, and can paint walls, piping, floors, and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot, evaluate, and make recommendations to upgrade maintenance operations and/or implement savings opportunities.
  • Possess competent knowledge of the use and care of tools and equipment used in facility and ground maintenance.
  • Respond immediately to emergency situations and customer service requests assigned.
  • Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions, preventative maintenance, etc.
  • Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agencies, and Company directives as related to building operations and practicing safe work habits.
  • Other duties as assigned


Must Have:



  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 3+ years of related experience
  • Be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
  • Technical, vocational, or on-the-job training in at least one of the following areas: HVAC, electrical, mechanical, process controls, mechanical power transmissions, painting, plumbing, carpentry, or engine repair.
  • Basic Computing Skills in Outlook, Excel & Word, CMMS,
  • Ability to use technology such as smart phones, tablets, computers, web-based applications, building automation systems, etc.
  • Regularly required to utilize vision abilities, allowing reading of printed material, drawings, and schematics


Salary Range: $25.00-$38.00 depending on shift and experience
