The Cisco Subscription & Enterprise Agreement Manager is responsible for driving our sales and growing the Cisco annuity software business. They are focused on the development and growth of NRI's Cisco annuities software practice. In addition, they work closely with sales teams as well as the pre-sales engineering team to expand NRI's enterprise agreement business.
Responsibilities
- Build and present software enterprise agreements to NRI customers around Cisco Collaboration licensing agreements, Security enterprise agreements, Digital infrastructure licensing includes switching, routing, and wireless, and Data center and virtualization software agreements
- Utilize existing NRI tools to manage daily business activities to support account teams and pre-sales.
- Provide support for changes and expansions to existing NRI software contracts.
- Work with Cisco and NRI sales leadership to expand opportunities in each local market.
- Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as weekly status, EA pipeline, & annual business plan.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in regular Cisco trainings.
- Maintain historical records on area and customer sales.
- Other duties as assigned and directed.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Bachelor's degree in technology or business.
- 5 - 7 years of software, infrastructure, or services sales experience.
- Solutions architecture or sales engineering experience.
- Direct experience architecting and selling Cisco EAs.
- Background in technology sales or pre-sales engineering.
- Proven history in sales or pre-sales with a focus on sales achievements.
- Ambitious self-motivator with drive to achieve sales goals.
- Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple opportunities while continuing to identify new opportunities.
- Analytical ability to identify potential opportunities via existing data sets.
- Proven ability to effectively manage changing priorities and a changing workload.
- Existing product knowledge and the desire to learn about new solutions.
- Familiarity (not technical proficiency) with software licensing from Cisco such as Collaboration flex agreements, Security licensing and security choice, DNA licensing and EA offers, Data center licensing and EA offers, and Application portfolios and offers.
