NYL Investors is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate to join the Investment Services team. This role is instrumental in supporting trade processing, data integrity, and reconciliation between trading and accounting systems. The Associate will also play a key role in the implementation of a new accounting system, requiring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively across teams.

What You'll Bring:

  • Analyze and maintain trade and security data across trading and accounting platforms using various query and reporting tools.
  • Perform accurate and timely reconciliations of trades, cash, and position data.
  • Support the smooth transmission of data between systems and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
  • Work with technology areas to enhance straight through processing.
  • Identify and escalate issues promptly, ensuring resolution is achieved in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by sharing ideas, offering feedback, and supporting innovation within the team.
  • Assist in the design, testing, and deployment of systems by documenting results and communicating findings clearly.

What You'll Do:

  • BS in Business Administration or Finance
  • 2-6 years of relevant professional experience
  • Knowledge of fixed income, derivatives, and/or residential mortgage loans and day to day investment operations
  • Strong technical proficiency, including expertise in Aladdin, Bloomberg, Excel, Tableau, and AI platforms is highly desirable
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a collaborative mind-set

Pay Transparency

Salary Range:$85,000 - $110,000

Overtime eligible:Exempt

Discretionary bonus eligible:Yes

Sales bonus eligible:No

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
