Job Summary:

The Contract Quality Control (QC) Lead will play a significant role in the Vendor Risk Program with specific focus on contract QC. This individual will ensure that all contract quality control activities align with organizational policies and regulatory requirements. Further, this individual will develop, enhance, and execute day-to-day activities of the Supply Chain Contract Quality Control Program and identify improvement opportunities and trends associated with contracts, procedures, and requirements. The results, trends and opportunities of contract QCs will be reported to management by this individual. This role monitors the entire contract pool and leads in-depth assessments of contracts with vendors identified as high risk. Activities will need to satisfy both internal requirements and external compliance standards.

Essential Functions:



  • Lead efforts in design and execution of contract Quality Control program processes.
  • Test and verify that contracts comply with procurement policies and procedures including reviewing documentation to support compliance.
  • Develop process to identify and prioritize high risk contracts for QC reviews.
  • Report QC review results and trends to multiple levels of internal stakeholders to include Supply Chain management.
  • Oversee vendor contract compliance reviews performed by a third-party.
  • Maintain updated inventory of key contracts and contract requirements used to monitor quality of contracts and related supply chain procedures.
  • Collaborate with Vendor Risk Assessment staff, Supply Chain team and risk Subject Matter Experts to help manage vendor risks.
  • Analyze historical vendor/supplier risk trends, research risk drivers, and evaluate risk results for enterprise enhancements e.g., contract language; insurance coverage; environmental, social, and governance (ESG).
  • Facilitate the planning and coordination of activities for annual supply chain team risk training.
  • Proactively stay abreast of industry news and trade publications to keep current on risk issues that could impact the company, including but not limited to economic, political, supply chain, and forced labor / human trafficking; implement process modifications across the business when further action is needed to reduce risk and improve processes.
  • Effectively communicate business critical information including QC results with a variety of stakeholders to include senior leadership, taking ownership and accountability for project outcomes supporting a values based culture.



Education Description:



  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required. Masters in Business Administration (MBA) preferred.



Experience:



  • 7-10 years' experience required with a minimum 5-7 years in audit, compliance, process improvement, organization change management and/or relevant experience required with a proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
