Job Title: Quality Control Tester, Associate

Onsite Requirement: A couple of days onsite required and travel to different sites.

Job Summary: The Quality Control Tester, Associate will support the testing efforts of the modernized Chapter 683 systems by designing and executing both manual and automated test cases focused on security, system reliability, and performance. The Quality Control Tester, Associate will contribute to all test activities from planning to execution and reporting, ensuring compliance with client's technical and security standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute manual and automated test cases across platforms (web, tablet, mobile) for applicant and admin applications
• Validate system performance under high load scenarios typical of summer hiring cycles.
• Assist in penetration testing and report findings based on Third Party Security Requirements of the client.
• Conduct system-level regression and integration tests, validating updates in new and existing features.
• Participate in sprint planning and Agile ceremonies to ensure test coverage aligns with development timelines.
• Identify, document, and track bugs using project tools; retest fixes and close issues.
• Support creation of reusable test data and scripts for ongoing regression testing.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software testing experience with a focus on manual and automated execution.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Test Manager, Coded UI, or comparable QA tools.
• ISTQB Foundation or Advanced certification.
• Familiarity with client applications and data integration environments
• Knowledge of DB2, SQL, and system interoperability testing.
• Knowledge of performance/load testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Understanding of non-functional requirements including scalability, cross-browser compatibility, and system stability.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret complex business logic.
• Experience testing systems within a .NET environment and familiarity with data migration scenarios.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and follow Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits

The projected compensation range for this position is $88,200 to $111,600 per year benchmarked in the New York area. The target salary is $99,800 for this role. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Salary at LCG is determined by various factors, including but not limited to role, location, the combination of education/training, knowledge, skills, competencies, certifications, and work experience.
