Description

The Compliance Analyst position assists the Loan Operations Compliance Manager in research, implementation, and testing of projects related to regulatory compliance and operational controls.

Position Description:

The Compliance Analyst will perform a variety of tasks related to assists the Loan Operations Department in maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations including, but not limited to:



  • Conduct monitoring within the Loan Operations department upon request or prior to specified events.
  • Communicate testing results to Loan Operations management clearly and concisely.
  • Perform research of laws, regulations, and agency guidance and provide memos and analysis and evaluation of overall risk in assigned areas upon request.
  • Manage tasks related to corporate Compliance testing events, Internal Audit reviews, Enterprise Risk Management reviews, and regulator requests.
  • Manage compliance and regulatory change projects through project plans, summaries and procedure updates.
  • Work with business units to review procedures and processes to mitigate potential compliance risks.
  • Communicate with business partners including Compliance, Legal, Internal Audit, and Enterprise Risk Management to incorporate compliance and regulatory rules into business processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide assistance to the Compliance Manager in completing Risk Assessments, fulfilling requests from business partners, and tracking audit results.
  • Other duties as assigned.



Position Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in a business-related field and 1- 3 years' experience in loan operations or conducting compliance monitoring and testing to be considered.



  • CRCM, CIA, CPA, or other related certification is a plus.
  • Preference given to candidate with experience in Internal Audit, Compliance, or with banking experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and ability to quickly learn and navigate various internal systems
  • Self-motivated, results-orientated, and adaptable individual who responds well to change
  • Passion to learn and ability to absorb high level concepts
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple on-going assignments
