Temporary staff employees are ineligible to receive benefits (leave, health coverage, State service credit, etc.). They are, however, covered by Worker's Compensation provisions.
However, any non-permanent employee hired to work 30 or more hours per week for three months or more (cumulative of all positions, and not designated as variable hour worker), must be offered the chance to enroll in the High Deductible Health Plan, within 30 days of their eligibility. - Previous marketing experience
- Previous experience with social media management
- Must be self-motivated and team-oriented
- Excellent organization, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Computer experience, especially with desktop publishing (i.e. InDesign and Photoshop)
- The duties and responsibilities of this position must be performed in a competent manner following the highest standards for leadership, professionalism, integrity, accountability, responsibility, cooperation, and customer service

Duties and Responsibilities |
- Oversees overall marketing efforts for select sports which may include Women's Basketball, Baseball, Men's Soccer, Women's Soccer, Softball or Volleyball
- Oversight of the Charlotte 49ers Norm Mascot program or Junior Kids Club
- Helps to develop and coordinate marketing and promotional efforts for all Charlotte 49ers intercollegiate sports
- Assists with content creation for Athletics Social Media Accounts (Instagram, Facebook & Twitter) * Implements marketing strategies and game-day promotional activities for various sports
- Assists with and plans special events
- Designs and creates advertisements for print and electronic media
- Assists staff with marketing and promotions of Football and Men's Basketball
- Helps to oversee the student internship program
- Assist Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing with on-campus grassroots marketing, to include student tailgating
- Other duties as assigned by the Assistant Athletic Director of Marketing Knowledge and Skills Considered Essential for Success:
- Previous marketing experience
- Previous experience with social media management
