Business Workstream Lead

Pharma Technical (PT) Operations manufactures and delivers Roche's therapies to over 120 million patients worldwide. PT oversees the production of every Roche medicine, from development and clinical trials through to product maturity. With 15 plants and 10 sites globally, our team coordinates all aspects of production across various disease areas and dosage forms.

The Opportunity:

As the Business Workstream Lead, you will have a strategic role collaborating with business partners across Roche/Genentech to ensure the realization of the ASPIRE vision and benefits for Genentech PT Operations. Reporting to the Network Realization Lead, you will be accountable for the end-to-end integration of solutions across multiple workstreams and business partners. Your responsibilities will include:

• Partnering with the BCO Community to implement continuous improvement initiatives, and act as a change agent; leading high-impact business workstream efforts and supporting the implementation of enterprise-wide continuous improvement initiatives

• Developing and managing strategic stakeholder relationships, ensuring alignment with PT's digital and operational excellence goals

• Defining and owning Process Performance Health Indicators for multiple workstreams, leading integration efforts across P2DP, P2RFA, and other key areas

• Driving the vision and strategy for ASPIRE realization through comprehensive training programs, process mapping, and transformation projects

• Conceiving and implementing advanced options analysis and design solutions to address complex process, system, performance, and data issues related to Plan to Delivery/Plan to Retire Fixed Assets

• Serving as a senior subject matter expert, optimizing business processes and systems with global product teams, IT, Business, BCO, and Master Data communities

• Leading the adoption of industry best practices, ensuring cross-functional coordination, and providing advanced troubleshooting support to business capability communities

• Managing the master data processes from a strategic perspective, identifying significant process gaps, defining comprehensive master data attribute requirements, and collaborating with IT/OT to develop robust downtime support processes for business continuity on a global scale

Business Workstream Lead Requirements (SE7):

• You have a Bachelor's degree and/or advanced degree in science or business related fields

• You have 8 years of relevant biotech/pharmaceutical experience; or an advanced degree with 6 years of equivalent work experience

• You have excellent communication skills, effectively working across all organizational levels and influencing functions and businesses proactively and constructively

• You have a solid grasp and experience working with SAP/ERP systems

• You excel in managing ambiguity, coaching others, and utilizing analytical problem-solving skills to anticipate both strategic and operational issues and recommend effective solutions

• Certification in Lean Six Sigma, CPIM or PMP/CMAP (preferred)

The expected salary range based on the primary location of California is $150,710 - $279,890. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Business Workstream Lead Requirements (SE8):

• You have 12 years of relevant biotech/pharmaceutical experience; or an advanced degree with 8 years of equivalent work experience

• All competencies of the Principal (SE7) level, with an enhanced role in strategic planning and influence across larger, more complex projects

• You have a deep understanding and high level expertise of SAP/ERP systems

• You have a proven track record of successfully managing high-impact, large-scale initiatives

• You excel in managing ambiguity, coaching others, and utilizing analytical problem-solving skills to anticipate both strategic and operational issues and recommend effective solutions

• You are experienced in managing change and leading cross-functional initiatives, with the ability to juggle multiple demands while consistently meeting milestones and commitments

• Certification in Lean Six Sigma, CPIM or PMP/CMAP (preferred)

The expected salary range based on the primary location of California is $161,560 - $300,040. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
