CRM recruitment software. Knowledge of Banner
SIS. Excellent oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills are necessary.
Demonstrated success in collaborating within all levels of higher education institution. |

Position Overview
Primary Purpose of Position |
This position serves as an Admissions Counselor for the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. Conducts information sessions on campus for prospective students and parents. Articulates admissions policies and procedures to students, parents and counselors. Assists in coordinating on and off campus events hosted by the Office of Admissions. Participates in University recruitment activities, including college day/night programs, visits to secondary and post-secondary institutions, alumni meetings, and campus tour visitations. Assist with the leadership of the Aggie Ambassador program. |

Articulates admissions policies and procedures to students, parents and counselors by participating in University undergraduate admission recruitment activities, including college day/night programs, limited individual visits to secondary and post-secondary institutions, alumni meetings, and campus tour visitations. Conducts information sessions on campus for prospective students and parents. Attends meetings with University faculty and various University committees to represent the Admissions Office. Understands and identifies student services issues, client needs and matters of a recurring nature to effectively address and resolve the issue.
