Job Type:Seasonal (Fixed Term) (Seasonal) Invest in you, join Agropur. We are searching for a Whey Summer Helper at our Weyauwega, WI location. This position is temporary for the summer months to support packaging in our powder department. What this role is about: The Whey Helper is responsible for assisting with the activities in the Whey Plant as directed by the Production Supervisor. Pay: $21.67 an hour Hours: 9 PM - 5 AM Fill lactose bags with product; ensuring the bag house is empty at end of shift. Assist with Feta or Cheddar packaging/production as directed. Assist with other general duties in Whey Plant as assigned. Effectively adhere to and maintain the plant sanitation schedule. Communicate concerns to the Production Supervisor in a timely fashion. What you need to join our team: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Lift Truck License required; in-house training provided. Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with managers and colleagues. Our Weyauwega, WI, plant is home to approximately200 employees. This facility produces award-winning feta and aged cheddar cheese as well as lactose and reduced lactose whey. Weyauwega, WI, is a quaint rural community of 1,900 where there is the opportunity for both rural and urban living.
