The Director of Custom Application Development will be a senior leader within our technology team, responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, development, and deployment of custom applications using no-code and low-code platforms. This role requires a deep understanding of these platforms, coupled with exceptional project management skills and the ability to drive innovation in application development. The director will work closely with senior business stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation and process improvement, translating business requirements into effective technical solutions. This position demands a visionary leader who can inspire and lead a team of developers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality applications that enhance operational efficiency and support business objectives. In this role, the Director will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of custom application development, from initial concept through to deployment and maintenance. This includes managing a team of developers, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that all applications meet the highest standards of quality and performance. The manager will also play a critical role in promoting the use of no-code and low-code platforms within the organization, driving adoption and ensuring that these tools are used effectively to meet business needs. This position will report to the VP IT, Global Enterprise Applications. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Minimum Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering/Manufacturing technology, or a related field. Experience::Minimum of 10 years of experience custom application development, with a focus on no-code and low-code platforms. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities Skills
