Responsibilities Model Shop Machinist Position is to work in our model shop to provide prototype parts, custom tooling as well as other parts, to both R&D and Order Fulfillment customers. Must be able to produce parts which meet customer's requirements and specifications, as well as working as a team with engineering to identify Design for Manufacturing opportunities. Requires ability to quickly produce prototypes from a "napkin sketch" design, all the way to a fully annotated 3D model with 2D drawing. Ability to setup and program CNC milling machines as well as operate manual mills, lathes, surface grinders, etc. Strong understanding of machining principles and techniques Experience with tooling/fixturing and determining process of tool buildsMaintain a clean and organized work area Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Strong communication and teamwork skills Self-motivated and able to work with minimal direction Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints Qualifications Careers Privacy Statement *Keysight is an Equal Opportunity Employer.* Keysight Technologies Inc. is an equal opportunity employer. Programming of CNC equipment using CAM packages, i.e., MasterCam preferred Setup/operation of CNC mills and lathes Experience with tooling/fixturing and determining process of tool builds Self-motivated and able to work with minimal direction Desirable skills: Swiss lathe programming/setup/operation EDM experience - wire & sinker Sheet metal fabrication Laser or waterjet Multi axis programming CAD experience Leadership/supervisor experience Pay Range: USD $54,510.00 - USD $90,850.00 Year The level of this role will be based on applicable experience, education, and skills; most offers will be be between the minimum and the midpoint of the salary range listed.
